ARTICLES OF ORGANIZATION

We, WILFRED JARRY, President, ARMAND A. RHEAUME, Treasurer, ARTHUR H. FREDETTE, Clerk of Secretary, and ALFRED R. DOUGLAS, WILLIAM R. TAIT, EDWARD R. LOPES, JOSEPH THEODORE, Jr. and WILFRED JARRY,

Being a majority of the directors (or officers having the power of directors)

of THE NEW BEDFORD MASTER ELECTRICIANS ASSOCIATION, INC.

elected at the first meeting in compliance with the requirements of General Laws, Chapter 180, Section 3, hereby certify that the following is a true copy of the agreement of ********* to form said corporation, with the names of the subscribers thereto:

We, whose names are hereto subscribed, do, by this agreement, associate ourselves with the intention of forming a corporation under the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 180.
The name by which the corporation shall be known is THE NEW BEDFORD MASTER ELECTRICIANS ASSOCIATION, INC.
The location of the principal office of the corporation in Massachusetts is to be the City of New Bedford, 104 Bullock Street
The purposes for which the corporation is formed is as follows:
To assist in promoting the general welfare of the members, fostering and cultivating the social, educational and business relations of the members. To help broaden their interests in pursuit if the electricians’ business, to improve their standards of efficiency and productivity.
To encourage among the members a closer personal acquaintance and friendly spirit of mutual cooperation; to gather, receive, and disseminate such information as may be helpful to the members; to acquire, purchase, erect, hold, and improve, lease and maintain real and personal property as may be necessary and appropriate for the purposes of the corporation.

(If seven days’ notice is  waived, fill in the following waiver.)
We hereby waive all requirements of the General Laws of Massachusetts for notice of the first meeting for organization, and appoint the eighteenth day of May, 1959, at ten o’clock a.m., at 412 Olympia Bldg, New Bedford, Mass. as the time and place for holding such meeting.
